The brief
What the project had to solve
Food and drink sites fail when they make you work for the menu. The brief here was simple: show the product, say where it is, and get people to the order page.
We kept the structure deliberately short - home, about, menu, order - and let the photography and the brand palette carry the appetite appeal.
- 1
Four links, no maze
A small menu is a feature. Every route a customer needs is one tap from anywhere on the site.
- 2
The product does the selling
Photography is given the room to work rather than being cropped into thumbnails beside body copy.
- 3
Local, stated up front
Being the local option is the competitive advantage here, so the town is on the page rather than implied.
